My Office Springs to Life - in Green!

in a past post, i shared some office organization & decor ideas,
taken from my own studio spaces over the years.
you might notice that in one of those offices, i was simply MAD about chartreuse.

well...
i'm reverting.
yes, i still LOVE my pale neutral palette at home...
but with this sunshine and things sprouting up all over outside,
i'm seeing this jazzy happy green everywhere!

here are some 'Fast, Cheap, & Easy'TM ways
to add COLOR to an office space..
it doesn't take much effort OR money
to revitalize a small space like this...

it's all about the small details,
and almost everything shown is something i had on hand
[pulled from storage, the closet, under the bed....]

* the floral tote bag from Country Living magazine holds supplies for a current project
* the lampshade is a wire trash can from the Dollar Tree, with a doily over it
[see more of my own lampshade creations here]
* the cute green gingham shopping bags on the shelf were fifty cents each at Big Lots
* the pillows on the twin bed are simply wrapped up in a green vest and sweatshirt
* Big Bear wears a straw chapeau with a scarf from the Dollar Tree
* and references to the garden abound...

i am so enamored with this happy color,
i spent the past few days creating a new brand image for my retail design website.

what's YOUR favorite color right now?

you can live with it without committing to long-term change!
add a few simple accessories to your office, kitchen, or entry way
and your rooms will SPRING to life, too!
