in my last post, i mentioned some hearts that i had made out of paint chip cards -
but i didn't have a great photo of them to include in the post.
i just found those paper hearts in a bin!

i snapped a few quick photos and created a quick tutorial for you...
these are so easily made!
1. cut paint chip cards into long strips in two widths.
1. cut paint chip cards into long strips in two widths.
2. fold each strip exactly in half with the color facing outward.
3. then bend the ends of each half toward the center, creating a heart shape.
4. secure those together with a dot of hot glue.
to make this a craft for young kids, i'd suggest pre-cutting the strips,
then giving kids a glue stick to secure the ends in a heart shape.

i simply piled them into swanky martini glasses for the centerpiece at our party -
but you could hang them on thin ribbon or thread in a window, from a chandelier,
or from bare tree branches in a sturdy vase.
i love using inexpensive materials like paper for decorating projects...
