the optimism of this happy hue has cheered me on some dark days,
and i hope it has lifted your spirits, as well -
mostly that it has inspired you to use your favorite colors in your own home.

that said, i'm not sure i can say goodbye to this color as the year ends!
(and truth be told, i'm not a fan of the new 'very peri' blue hue chosen as 2022's color.)
but that's truly the thing: we get to choose what we embrace.
and i'm choosing to stick with yellow!
i'm currently mixing in some gold and mustard tones, for a richer feel
that warms up our home during chilly winter weather.
(okay, yeah, i know - 'chilly' is relative when you live in So Cal!!!)
