i can't even say this is a 'craft' project...
it's more like an 'arrangement' project.
it's just stacking things together to make pumpkins!
SO easy - and flexible.
it will work in any color, any size, any style:
i'm into a black and white (with accents of yellow!) palette this fall,
but these would be elegant in gold & white, mod in chrome silver and white,
boho chic in terra cotta, and traditional in varied orange tones.

this assortment of 'pumpkins' is made from ceramic containers...
some are pierced candle holders, some are plant pots,
and one is a glass votive holder.

the 'stems' on top of them are made from various items:
champagne corks, a champagne cork cage, an egg cup, a tiny ceramic cup and dish.

does that short black pumpkin look sorta' familiar?
it was a pineapple in july! i just repainted it and flipped it over.

a small battery operated votive candle sits under the white glass 'pumpkin',
its light shining through the clear glass circles to warm up the display.
[only use battery operated candles when a vessel has a closed top]
the pierced ceramic 'pumpkins' would work similarly.
and if you use large containers, try a 'tap light' inside for a strong glow!
this project would work in any colorway, any style, any size -
imagine HUGE ones made from big plant pots on your front porch,
painted to match your own palette.
or use galvanized buckets & small galvie trash cans!!!
add a smaller pot as a 'stem', maybe a small bunch of leaves tucked beneath it,
and boom! you're done!
