in my last post, i mentioned some hearts that i had made out of paint chip cards -
but i didn't have a great photo of them to include in the post. i just found those paper hearts in a bin!
i snapped a few quick photos just so i can share them...
so let's consider this my 'Paint the Town Pink!' post Part Two!
these are so easily made - the paint chip cards were cut into long strips,
then bent into a heart shape and secured with a dot of hot glue.
[to make this a craft for kids, i'd suggest pre-cutting the strips,
then giving them a glue stick or tacky glue to secure the ends in a heart shape.]

i cut both thick and thin strips for interest, but made them all the same size -
you could easily glue strips together lengthwise before bending into a heart shape for larger sizes.
i simply piled them into swanky martini glasses for the centerpiece at our party -
but you could hang them on thin ribbon or thread in a window, from a chandelier,
or from bare tree branches in a sturdy vase.
as you see in that photo,
i also used the paint chip cards (extras from a client project) in a few other ways...
i love using inexpensive materials like paper for decorating projects...
heart gift tags cut from a vintage box here
that being said, i DO have some thoughts about how you GET paint chip cards for crafting.
check out my last post for those...
