sips:
Here's an easy way to provide pretty sips for a party...

quote: 'plant your own flowers', indeed...
We each know what we want and need to feel whole and happy, so why not get/make/do those things for ourselves? They needn't be expensive: Pick up a pretty bouquet at the farmers' market. Put on your favorite music and dance while you tidy the house. Start your weekend day with a cuppa' in your garden, as birds greet the morning.
(...and yes, I can hear 'I can buy my own flowers' by Miley Cyrus when I read this quote!)
blessing:
Ralph Waldo Emerson said "The earth laughs in flowers".
These paper umbrellas painted like flowers at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas certainly made me smile when I saw them years ago!
I hope you will find a place where you can hear the laughter of nature, and that your spirit will be lightened by the beauty of May.
