last spring, i covered a pool noodle circle with some green gingham fabric.
in about ten minutes, i recently reworked it to become something different
because that's what i do with my decor: rethink it, remake it, reuse it.
with the simple addition of paint chip strips, it brightens up the holiday season!

just as in the last paint chip wreath i shared, i've used the 'paint name cards' from the fan decks.
this time, though, i used the plain white back side of those cards.
bent into shape around the foam pool noodle wreath form and held in place with straight pins,
they cover the while thing and create a plain background for the color accents...
one section of every paint fan deck has the 'accent' colors.
these are deeper, more saturated hues with very little - if any - titanium white in them.
this is where the bold colors live, and that's what i chose for this wreath.

i used all of the primary color chips - plus the addition of a pink one from the regular cards.
then i twisted them around the wreath form, arranged in roygbivp order.
each chip is held on with a straight pin in both ends.
no, they don't overlap on the back side.
you could do that if you want to hang a wreath like this in a window, visible from both sides.
it will require more paint chips, tho!
the bow is separate, made with four more accent color paint chips.
i attached it with a pin, low on the wreath so it doesn't block the other color strips.
the deep, bold hues on this wreath aren't too overpowering because it is small
(about 12" across).
i'd hesitate to use them in a bigger decorative statement!
paired with the white ceramic houses that i found at Target last year,
and the paper chains that i created this year,
the wreath fills out this mantel display with happy hues!
and because it's all pinned on, you just know i'll be using this wreath form again...
