as i was making my new Sweet Sweater Pineapples
(shared in my last post - link below)
i came up with a few more ideas for easy-peasy pineapple crafts...
like, SO easy. kids can do this easy. no adhesive easy.

continue reading for the two-step tutorial -
PLUS another way to make a 'sweater' pineapple!

all you need for this craft is a ball of yarn, or a spool of twine (or thread!)
and a bunch of cheap fabric daffodils.

slide the leaves off of the daffodil stems,
then bunch a few leaves together with a rubber band.
for the tiny twine pineapple shown in the top photo,
i cut the leaves in half, then tapered the cut ends.

insert the leaves into the top of the spool or ball of yarn.

done. seriously! it's that easy.

you might notice a different pineapple in that photo above:

he's another version of a 'sweater' pineapple -
only he's not made from a sweater... he started out as a tiny kids' knit cap!

here's how to turn a knit cap into a pineapple:

1. fill it with polyfil stuffing.
2. prep your leaves, as shown above.
3. grab the open 'neck'/top of the hat, insert the leaves,
4. then use a rubber band to close the knit cap around the leaves.

done!
