all of the Christmas decor is packed up, and i've been thinking about winter decorating
and all of the many ways i've 'warmed up' my homes every winter over the years...
 some of those projects have been successful several times in more than one home

as i re-create them in new versions + colorways.

what says 'winter warmth' better than sweaters?

i've made so.many.things using thrifted / upcycled sweaters for decades,

and they're a perfect cozy crafting material for winter!

here are my favorite 'sweet sweater' creations for winter...

in 2013, i shared my sweater-wrapped vases.

 i first created some back in 2007 after seeing designer Danny Seo's versions 

(and immediately after that, my famous Original Sweet Sweater Pumpkins were 'born'!)

in 2012 and 2021,

i shared various versions of my sweater-wrapped winter wreaths.

in 2013 and 2021,

i created and RE-created my Original Sweet Sweater Snowmen + SnoBuddies

aaaaaand finally...

 in 2021 i created my Original Sweet Sweater Sips 'cocoa' and 'coffee'
(using socks, not sweaters - but close enough) and they still crack me up!

as you can see, sweaters are an easy + fun material to work with
and the possibilities are truly endless.
