flower bunnies

spring has arrived, April is here, and Easter is on the horizon...
this truly easy floral project will add some fun to your spring decor!

whether you make it with faux or fresh flowers,

it's sure to make everyBUNNY smile ;) 

continue reading to see how you can replicate my look!

three small ceramic bud vases serve as 'bunny bodies',

while small white round flowers become 'heads'

and tulip or daffodil leaves step in as 'ears'

on the left, two very small tulip leaves are perfectly shaped to become ears.

i put them in the vase first, sitting one a bit lower for a variation in scale,

then popped the white blossom in.

on the right, a yellow flower pairs up with two large fabric daffodil leaves - 

one was already folded over, and i love the 'floppy ear' look to it!

because they are about twice the height of the bud vase,

i simply folded the bottom half when i inserted them

so they'd be at the correct height for the flower.

i DO like the yellow blooms, but honestly the white flower bunnies are my faves! 

 if you want to add one additional detail...

you can place another flower blossom as a 'tail' on the back of the vase!

while a faux flower blossom works best for a long-term display,

fresh blooms would work for your Easter Sunday table or mantel decor.

...imagine using big floppy white hydrangeas, or round white dahlias!
